I can see this app has great potential, but I have had trouble getting it to work for me. Good response time from developer. I like being able to mark appointments as completed and categorizing by project. I love how you can tag a task with what it is- for example a shopping trip will automatically add a field for your list, a phone call opens your contacts to add the number in that field. Im having trouble syncing with ical, multiple appointments at the same time will not show up (one is free but I need to track). The UI could use a little work, it could be simpler to use.

the cool operation and idea.

Ive searched hi-n-lo for an application which would e-mail my appointments to others, show daily, weekly and monthly layouts, provide badge and / or sound alerts and would be flexible and easy to use at the same time. I found it! After trying over 2 dozen apps, I settled on this one. The developer is constantly working on improving it, too, which is really cool! I am looking forward to the new updates/releases. Excellent app. Worth the money.

Ive been looking for this app for months. It does everything I need

I like this app as it has a myriad of features, but while the icons, priority assignments, tasks, project features are nice and well thought out, what I really like is one key GUI features: awesome month view. For month view, u can see some text WITH the appt times below and scroll easily through months by sliding vertically. The week view is a little weird, its basically one line of month view giving much more screen real estate to the list view portion. Thats all well and good, but sometimes you just want a week view. The great caveat to this program is also its greatest strength. This program is similar to pre-os x calendars by third party companies in that as a stand along application, its great, but there is a distinct lack of applicant integration with existing services. For instance, google calendar and task integration would be great. You can workaround this by tying the apple calendar to google through caldav or exchange and then using around cal, but that still leaves the problem of tasks. As great as this application is, until it integrates with other existing calendar and todo services, it just isnt worth $5 when compared to other applications available for iPhone and iPad. Im sure the blood and sweat that went into making this app makes it worth $5 to the developers, but I consider a fair market price in comparison to other apps, and in this market, for this type of application, integration is king. The lack of an iPad app is another problem. Make me use AroundCal and only AroundCal for my mobile and PC/Mac needs and youll have a customer for life. Until then, Ill have to make do with another calendar app.



Easy to use, thanks to the author

As a previous owner of the Newton MessagePad, I finally get a chance to get close to a more familiar interface. Having to go to Windows-based products was challenging, but good for PDA technology driven people. Now that I use Outlook, this program for the iPod Touch is much appreciated. There was a learning curve for me, but the vision for this app is grand. The calendaring views and tasks creation are wonderful for people with crazy schedules--mini project management software.

The project tasks particularly useful for me. Hope developer keeps improving this app. Days of week in the date selection in selectional only showes number for day no week day Very thoughtful program. Highly recommend. Each day like program more. Please make a way to show in calendar when event/task has a list. Would like to see ability to have custom Icons. Add this kind of ✔ "checkmark" to beginning of task. It is so helpful when not on the iPod the ✔ is used by a few other programs. So would integrate perfectly.70 InApp purchase of User List OK, could have more features, such as multiple list integration. Pull from other lists. Nice. -------- Highly recommend the purchase of this application. It is good and the developer is responsive and says will fix the issues. Just hope it is soon. I need this feature back,
